Dan Megill was raised in rural Pennsylvania, the fourth of four homeschooled children, and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2007. He began Earthburst while working as an international aid worker, a career which took him to 15 countries across 5 continents, but he has since settled near Atlanta, where he works for a nonprofit health clinic.
